Electronic Flight Bag (EFB)

Designed for minimum manufacture cost, ease of installation, and future EFB system expandability for either display units and/or software upgrades.

The Connected Cockpit

The connected cockpit will include generations of tablets for both operations and electronic flight bag purposes. Amphenol CIT  has developed a universal mounting system which allows robust support of these devices on the flight deck without constant re-certification with every change of form factor or protective case.

This a complete suite of products is intended to provide for a long-life installation compatible for multiple generations of touchscreen devices.

Mounting System for Tablets and Electronic Flight Bags (EFB)

Amphenol CIT's line of eZMount® tablet mounting solutions supports the ever-changing landscape tablet devices available.

The foundation of the system is the eZMount® Twist, which allows easy, one-handed adjustment of the tablet angle.

This mount increases the longevity and flexibility of the installation to support future tablet devices that change and evolve very rapidly, giving airlines flexibility to upgrade their devices without driving costly change to the aircraft fleets.

The first truly universal mounting for tablets both with and without protective cases, the eZMount® Universal Cradle addresses the ergonomic challenge of using multiple sizes and generations of tablet devices in an aviation environment.

Designed to be mounted to the eZMount Twist mounting system, the eZMount Universal Cradle allows many generations of devices to be used without updating the mounting on the aircraft, eliminating costs of certification and replacement of hardware. This gives airlines flexibility to upgrade their devices without driving costly change to the aircraft fleets.
